How much time does volunteering take?
Most roles ask for two to four hours a month. Mentorship pairs typically meet twice a month, and event support can be a single day.
Do I need experience to mentor?
No. We provide orientation, conversation guides, and a staff contact for every mentor. What matters most is consistency and care.
Is there a background check?
Yes, for any role working directly with youth. We'll walk you through it after your intro conversation.
Can my company or class volunteer as a group?
Absolutely. Group service days are one of our favorite ways to partner — mention it in your application or use our partnership form.
